The Plastic Surgery Education Foundation, situated at the Department of Plastic Surgery, King George’s Medical University, Lucknow (UP), was founded in 2023 with the noble objectives mentioned below:

  • To promote academics, research, and training in the field of plastic surgery and allied fields and to do all such acts and deeds that are incidental or ancillary to it.
  • To impart education through electronic media and to participate in Government and Non-government programmes for imparting education and general upliftment of masses in general and medical students in particular.
  • To enter into collaboration with Universities and colleges (both Indian and foreign) for running education courses etc.
  • To establish and set up infrastructure facilities to improve the education system for catering to students in general and medical students in general.
  • To provide fees, books, equipments, free ships, and /or scholarships to deserving students.
  • To establish, develop, maintain and grant aid in cash or kind to Schools and Institutions and /or such other charitable institutions in India for the benefit and use of the society.
  • To conduct conferences/seminars/workshops/camps and arrange special tution /training and programmes for students, academicians and public in general in the field of plastic surgery and allied fields.
  • To provide /assist in setting up libraries.
  • To support the publication of books, journal, articles, audio-visual aids and other educational material.
  • To Institute awards, prizes, orations, fellowships to encourage the advancement of education in the field Plastic surgery and allied fields.
  • To support the travel of individuals/groups for the journey undertaken within the country for the purpose of attaining any of the objects of this trust.
  • To do all such acts and deeds required for improvement in the quality of life of the needy human beings specially the patients needing medical help, including medicines etc.
  • To provide help to establish and set up, and run infrastructure facilities for improvement in relation to the care of critically ill patients.
  • To provide outdoor dispensary or assistance thereof, and also to run “Mobile” medical services.
  • To assist in the rehabilitation of handicapped persons.
  • To make donations in cash or in kind for charitable purposes.
  • To provide treatment asisstance to needy patients requiring medical treatment.
  • To procure, fund, or contribute equipment, consumables and drugs for research and treatment of patients requiring plastic surgery/treatment.

The foundation resolves to start its own Journal dedicated to Clinical studies in the field of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery by the name of “Clinical Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery” available at www.cjprs.in
