The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Author Guidelines
SCOPE OF THE JOURNAL Journal of Applied Bioscience (Formerly Biological Memoirs) is a biannual multidisciplinary journal of the International Society of Applied Biology catering to various classical and applied aspects of Biological, Medical & Veterinary, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. The journal publishes articles containing original research, brief communications, critical synthesis, revisions, and reviews. The wide field purports to enable specialist researchers to have a closer perspective of disciplines related or even unrelated to his field of interest. The disciplines covered so far include Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetic Engineering, Biotechnology, Medicine, Veterinary, Tropical and Medical Mycology, Agriculture, Environmental Biology, Palaeobotany, Paleontology and Morphotaxonomy of plants and animals.
ABSTRACT SERVICES The journal is abstracted/indexed in Biological Abstracts, Current Contents, CABI-Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, Current Awareness in Biological Sciences (CABS), Global Health, Indian Science Abstracts, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants Abstracts, Paryavaran Abstracts, etc.
PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPT The manuscript should be concise, typewritten on one side only, double-spaced and with margins (1.5" left and 1" right margin). The order of text should be TITLE (bold and cap), AUTHOR(S) NAME (bold and cap), Affiliations, ABSTRACT, KEYWORDS, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, OBSERVATIONS/RESULTS, DISCUSSION, ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS, REFERENCES, Tables, Legends for illustration, etc. Authority of the scientific names should be given at first mention. Abbreviations such as, etc., viz., i.e. & e.g. should be italicized. The citation in the text should be in following pattern (Haji-Zadeh et al., 1994; Hodek & Honek, 1996). Multiple citations in text should be arranged chronologically. In the reference section, an alphabetical listing should be followed and formatted as per the pattern given below. The name of the journal should be abbreviated according to World List of Scientific Periodicals. The manuscript must acknowledge the laboratory where work is carried out. The maximum print area of the journal is 17.5 x 23 cm.

Submission of an article in the Journal of Applied Bioscience implies that all authors have been taken into confidence by the communicating author. A manuscript id will be generated during submission for your records and tracking purpose.
All authors are supposed to be the members of the society. Current subscription rates are: Individual- INR 350/- (US $ 40) annual, INR 2500/- (US $ 250) life, Institutional annual subscription - INR 1500/-.
Authors are supposed to pay a part of the journal production cost. A copy PDF of paper and printed journal will provided to the corresponding author.
