Oral Health: Impact on Respiratory Diseases

Abstract

Poor oral health has a direct link for the pathogenesis of many respiratory diseases. Recent data shows that chronic microaspiration is a risk factor for development and aggregation of pneumonia and variety of other chest diseases including COPD and bronchiectasis.
