Hypertension Journal: the Journey Continues
Main Article Content
Abstract
Hypertension is a major risk factor for heart disease and stroke, estimated to nearly 1-billion people are affected by hypertension worldwide, and predicted to increase to 1.5 billion by 2025. Amazingly, nearly half of those affected are unaware of their condition.
The first time the World Hypertension Congress (6th) has been held in India recently in March 2025. Also, in a G20 co-branded event "Accelerating the Prevention and Management of Hypertension and Diabetes", the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India has launched an initiative to screen and place 75 million people with hypertension or diabetes on Standard Care by 2025.
Even globally most engaging studies are focused upon themes such as “implementation hypertension” and “morning hypertension” in forthcoming years.
We would also contribute towards the goal in upcoming issues and encourage the readers to contribute for healthy future.
